Women's Ministry
The FUMC Women's Ministry provides opportunities to study God's Word, fellowship with one another, give through various missions activities, and reach out to those in need, both within our Church family and around the Azle area. ANNUAL WOMEN'S RETREAT
Each year, the FUMC ladies are invited to "retreat" from their busy lives. These events begin on Friday evening and last until Saturday evening. Previous events have been held at Glen Lake Camp in Glen Rose. The program consists of a speaker, praise and worship music, and plenty of time to fellowship with one another.
BIBLE STUDIES
Several opportunities to study God's Word are offered throughout the year. Child care is provided for many studies.
BOOK CLUB
Do you love to read? We invite you to come and fellowship each month with new friends and a good book! Our next meeting is Thursday, January 7 at 7:00 pm in the Bridal Parlor.
WOMEN'S HANDS QUILT MINISTRY
Women's Hands is a ministry that sews prayer quilts to give to people who may need the comfort in knowing that someone is praying for them. They meet every Tuesday and Saturday from 10 till 2 and welcome everyone, quilters or not, FUMC church members or not!
MAGNOLIA BANQUET
An annual banquet hosted by the women of the church who use their creativity to decorate a table in the theme of their choosing. Food is prepared by a group of men from the church. The highlight of the evening is a special speaker who brings a message of motivation and spiritual encouragement.
WOMEN OF FAITH CONFERENCE
An annual conference consisting of exciting worship and spiritually uplifting speakers. The event is held in Dallas and is a very popular annual event.
BUNKO
A group that meets for fun, food and fellowship the 3rd Thursday of each month.
