Holy Week at FUMC
Palm Sunday
Our Holy Week Worship begins with Palm Sunday on April 10th. We will remember the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. The children will have a special event during Sunday School.
Maundy Thursday
We will be joining out brothers and sisters at Azle Christian Church (one block down the street from out church) for a combined Maundy Thursday service. The service will be outside in the parking lot. There will be a meal served at 6:30 pm and the service will begin at 7:00 pm. All are welcome to attend.
Good Friday
We will once again be joining with our brothers and sisters at Azle Christian Church, but this night, in out sanctuary. The service will begin at 7:00 pm as we remember the last hours of Jesus.
Holy Saturday
This is a good time to remember and reflect on why Jesus died on the cross for our sins.
Easter
There is no better day and Easter! We will celebrate the risen Christ and lift out hearts in praise.
